Rebuilding the heart of healthcare — by caring for the nurses who care for everyone else.

Meet Rachel! The nurse changing how healthcare takes care of its own.

As a recovering overachiever, who used to think burnout was just “part of the job,” I get it.

16 years of oncology and hospice nursing had wave after wave, wondering “What’s the point of all this”?! I was exhausted after long shifts, frustrated with the system, going through the motions, with little energy left over for life outside of work. I was stuck in cycles of compassion fatigue and burnout, and didn’t even know it.

Nurses are incredible at caring for others, but not so great at caring for themselves.

‍ ‍ I’m here to change that.

The Wise Well Nurse™ was created to support the emotional whiplash healthcare brings. One moment you’re administering scheduled medications, the being called to a room where a patient is crashing. You review discharge instructions while waiting for lab results to titrate medications. Nurses are responsible for so many tasks, mental and emotional, with no time for recovery.

It’s easy for nurses to feel like they’ve done everything, while still feeling like they’re not doing enough. Shift-after-shift, this can create discouragement and disconnection both on the job and at home, and it wears good nurses down. Unless you’re in healthcare, it’s hard to understand. And without understanding it, you can’t find solutions for it.

Until now….

I am here to bridge the gap between nurses on the ground and leaders in the boardroom, so we can have real conversations, and implement real change across healthcare.

Because it’s time for both individuals and organizations to learn well-being strategies that actually work to help nurses thrive, not just survive in healthcare.

I’m here to show you how. 💛
