Rebuilding the heart of healthcare — by caring for the people who care for everyone else.
Meet Rachel — the nurse changing how healthcare takes care of its own.
As a recovering overachiever, who used to think burnout was just “part of the job,” I get it.
16 years of oncology and hospice nursing had wave after wave wondering “what’s the point of all this?!” I was exhausted after long shifts, frustrated with the system, and running on empty, having nothing left for my life outside of work. I was stuck in cycles of compassion fatigue and burnout, and didn’t even know it.
Here’s the unspoken truth: nurses are incredible at caring for others , but terrible at caring for themselves. I’m here to change that.
The Wise Well Nurse™ was born out of moments nurses and executives don’t like to talk about….when you hide in the supply room for a moment of calm to reset…. crying puddles in the car before driving home…having an ache that wants to do more, while also feeling like you’re not doing enough. Nurses experience cycles of discouragement and disconnection both on the job and at home, that are unique to the profession. Unless you’re in healthcare, it’s hard to understand. And without understanding it, you can’t find solutions for it.
Until now….
I am here to bridge the gap between nurses on the ground and leaders in the boardroom, so we can have real conversations, and implement real change across healthcare.
Because it’s time for both individuals and organizations to learn well-being strategies that actually work to help nurses thrive, not just survive in healthcare.
You don’t have to leave nursing to save yourself.
I’m here to show you how. 💛
